RC’s Sundancer, He was amateur trained and always amateur handled! His performances are remembered as always forward, and characterized by a driving, searching pattern. He had a total of 15 Ch’ship wins such as the 1995/96 Michigan Ch’ship, the 1996 Illinois Open Ch’ship, and the 1996/1997 Prairie State Open Ch’ship . He received the 1995 IAMS Brittany of the Year Award.

He had in excess of ninety regional placements with sixty-two first places. Rudy has produced 30 field winners including 4 Ch’ship winners with 11 hour placements.

RC’s Sundancer (Rudy) was a consistent winner throughout his field trial career. His career began at the age of seven months with a first in a puppy stake. His career ended, at the age of ten years nine months, placing third in the 1997 Brittany National Amateur All Age Championship. Rudy had a total of ninety-six placements of which sixty-three were first place.

Rudy placed in fifteen hour stakes The highlights of his career included winning the 1995 and 1996 Michigan Brittany Open All Age Championships, the 1996 and 1997 Prairie State Open All Age Championships plus two amateur championships. Rudy won three Brittany National Championship placements, third in the 1993 Open, second in 1993 Amateur and third in the 1997 Amateur.

Rudy was owned by Rob and Carol Richter of Harvard, Illinois He was trained and handled by Rob. In 1995 Rudy received the Iams Award for being the top all age dog and his achievements were further recognized when he was inducted into the Field Trial Hall of Fame in 2003 and Rudy was inducted into the Brittany Hall of Fame in 2004.
